I recently schedule an oil change and a recall service at Northwest GMC. I arrived approximately an hour early and my vehicle was immediately taken from the service drop off and relocated to a service bay. The appointment went pleasant enough and the staff were courteous.
However, after 2.5 hours waiting I asked my service manager to come get me in the lobby when my service was complete. Another 30 minutes pass before my service manager comes into the waiting area, briefly speaks with whom I suspect to be the service department manager, and heads straight over to me. He informs me that t will be just a while longer as they are going to wash my car.
Please note it was raining quite heavily and I had washed my car a few days prior to service (in anticipation of a recall-free vehicle). This was immediately suspicious and others in the waiting room commented on such. I suspected they may have spilled the corrosive Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) on the paint and were taking appropriate actions. They finish with my vehicle and bring it back into the service drop off with water pooled on the hood. I do a walk around to see if anything is out of place - nothing catches my eye.
It’s not until the next day that I notice a dime-sized dent in my fender, adjacent to the hood - same horizontal plane. The dent would be easily obscured from pooled water. I don’t know for certain it was caused by this appointment - but let’s be real; the situation is more than suspicious enough to warrant never returning to this dealership. I will not be back.

Happy with the experience, except for the car wash. They said they were going to wash the car. If they did, the person that did the washing must have just sprayed the car with water and not done anything else.
The service dept was very helpful but I asked to have my car washed and vacuum which they always do and when I went to pick it up it was dirty didn't even tough the inside and told them they could keep my car all day. Also when I went to get into my vehicle they had parked it near a truck or truck parked next to me and I couldn't get in the passenger side had to crawl over the seat of my 2017 Equinox - not very happy at all with this service.
